In regard for a 37-year-old woman who is known to have systemic lupus erythematosus:
A. Hydroxychloroquine can be continued, as it is safe in pregnancy and withdrawal may 
precipitate flare

B. Prednisolone is  safe to continue in pregnancy.

 C. Anti-Ro antibodies should also be measured, as these determine the risk of the fetus developing postnatal problems.

D. If there is no renal involvement, and if she is anti-Ro  and antiphospholipid (aPL) negative, there is no adverse effect of the disease on the pregnancy.

E. Active disease at conception, renal involvement and antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) increase the risks of miscarriage.
